That was Republicans like Mitch the Bitch and Lady G. They literally diverted funds from close battles to (R) vs (R) like in Alaska to save Mitch's job. Lady G is a fucking commie wannabe that will do anything for the DOD and Intel.

Going into the midterms inflation was near its peak, dem turnout was guaranteed to be abysmal.

I had presumed that the red mirage was #Trump's fault for pushing milquetoast moderates in the primaries and by the time #GOP voters noticed how much their values diverged from the candidates', the nominees had already been picked.
Conservative Republicans never really liked #DrOz, for example, but mindless #MAGA voters pushed him to the edge and he won the midterm nomination.
The panic set off by the overturning of Roe supercharged Democrat turnout in a way not seen since Obama's first run.
If Lady G hadn't pushed the issue single-handedly it wouldn't even had been a talking point. People in the US are fully cooked and brain boiled over abortion without even understanding the issue, or how the rest of the world views it.
