Wait until you read about “fast fashion” and what the US and EU do with all their clothing waste. We’re literally burying other nations in our waste clothing, mostly nylons and raylon that cannot be easily repurposed and recycled.
“Brandy Hellville and the Cult of Fast Fashion” is worth watching; a decent documenting on our consumer culture, fashion, and excessive waste clothing.
@stux It's really worth learning about! I've found out that the US state/Commonwealth I live in (MA) exports most of its trash to other states (that's... not sustainable).
It wasn't until I started drinking from a water bottle using tap water that I came to understand just how much waste prepared drinks create by contrast.
