I wish more talented people, not just billionaires, had time to chases these fancies.
Sort of like back in the day when Google let you use one-fifth of your time on personal projects related to work.
Organic creativity beats enforced marching to the same beat like happens in most workplaces.
I tend to agree with you. Sometimes it should be perfectly obvious a way to make things better, but everyone is so busy fighting to keep a KPI in the green they aren't allowed to walk three feet to go look at the thing.
