It's hard to take seriously the "I won the primary" argument. There was not a real primary and of course the party did all it could to prevent one.
He certainly didn't debate anyone - maybe we'd be in a different spot if he had!

@brendanbuck There were other #Democrat candidates. The only thing the party functionally did was get rid of the debates.
Don't blame the party for either not participating in the #Democrat primary, or voting for #JoeBiden because that's what the #MSM narrative said you should do.

The establishment told the Republicans to vote for anyone but Trump, and the Democrats to vote for Biden, and the Republicans didn't do as they were told, and the Democrats did. Ironic given their respective narratives.

The #GOP is benefitted from having an alternate mainstream narrative, consisting of an average of takes from #FoxNews, #MAGA, and #Qanon. I think this still lead a lot of conservatives to unthinkingly vote for #Trump without considering the other candidates, or coming up with excuses to not vote for the other people, like #Desantis wearing heels or #Vivek being untrustworthy for a vague indiscernible reason which most certainly wasn't his skin color.
