When that American first called Canada Soviet Canuckistan back in the 90s or 2000s we laughed, but nobody's laughing anymore since it's increasingly apparent it's true.
@sj_zero But there's nothing at all good for the locals in this process. When people say communism, I think of the theory, not the practice.
I used the term ironically as we're actually in a criminal dictatorship with global connections. I found it on KiwiFarms and thought it was amusing tho far from a true picture of what Canuckistan is really like.
Until you've lived here, you can't really imagine. I've spent years in the states and 10 more in Asia so I feel I have a slightly more accurate picture of what's going on here than someone who's never left the USA.

Oh, I know. A trillion dollars of debt my son is on the hook for, and nothing in our lives got any better.

@sj_zero I can't even imagine how much debt my son has considering he hasn't contributed a cent to either of his two marriages. Grr.
Second one is going on the rocks as we speak. Full disclosure: I gave him up for adoption at birth and some kinda weird people raised him.
