It's not a coincidence that we're looking at war in the Middle East and global economic meltdown at the same time. These are global markets, tied to global events. Markets hate unrest, and right now there is global unrest. Were there fundamental economic problems that pre-existed all this? Yes, and we've been running dangerous deficits and debts since the 1980s before most of you on-app smarty pants were even alive. Was the CARES ACT bad? Yes. Was the Trump economy before Covid good? Also yes.
But if you're going to perpetually blame the CARES ACT for all of this, you won't be voting for another Republican other than Thomas Massie ever again. Almost everyone, including lots of good people, panicked at that moment. Furthermore, why would our CARES ACT upset global markets unless this is a...wait for it...wait for it....global crisis, just as I've been saying!
But if you do not understand ongoing war with Russia over Ukraine, stoked and provoked by this administration, heightened tensions in the Middle East, also stoked by this administration, are contributing greatly here you're not that smart.
