Why are basic Unix utilities such as dig not installed by default on the default Debian qube template?

@Hyolobrika dig isn't a basic Unix utility, it's a part of the ISC BIND package. Though Debian does miss quite a few useful packages like netstat in base variant.
Where is drill? In the same package? And is the package called "bind9"?
