I don’t know if he’s talking about child abuse or woman abuse, but the answer is the same. Too many people are falling for the excuses and the “mitigation” defences, and pitying the men who have the agency to NOT abuse.
It’s a choice.
Don’t fall for “I have a problem I need help”. Except for ppl with serious psychosis etc people are in command of their behaviour.
Just because you want to do something doesn’t mean you have to, and there is no “need” to do things that are offensive or abusive.

There's things I disagree with my parents on, and so I chose to live my life differently. I love my parents, both my mom and my dad, but I'm not the same person they were, I choose how I live.
They don't need to look in the mirror every day and see my face staring back, I do.
