Anyone complaining about online "misinformation" without acknowledging the legacy media and established outlets torching their credibility for many, many years is not being remotely realistic. This is true. Objectively there is a real problem in terms of getting reliable, timely, and objective information about important events, but "misinformation" as a talking point is just about controlling what people can and can't say, and is always implemented in biased and ideological ways. It never stops with obvious BS clickbait grifters.
