when I criticized someone Ma always said "Judge not lest you be judged" - I try to adhere to that but I fail (very) often.
Is it me or does anyone else think the "Save the Republic" rally was kinda creepy? And why was Russell Brand there? Shouldn't he be trying to save England?
So many things these days seem like a performative distraction.
On the other hand, the idea that you would have to monetize saving the country is uniquely american, for example Canada is on track to give the conservative party under Pierre Poilievre a massive majority, and while I'm sure that Pierre isn't going to be perfect, and lot of ways I could see him really cleaning up Canada. You don't really have this cottage industry building up there new celebrities careers doing so.

@Autumn you'll miss it when it's gone.
@Roundy it's already gone there are some regions hanging on but infiltration is everywhere plus the illegals
@Autumn I spoke to a decent amount of folks in the press tent and in the crowd. Maybe it's your camera angle or something but nobody I saw there seemed creeped out except for one death-metal screaming heckler, who was soon escorted out. it did seem like a great big reunion for cancelled people defying the establishment narrative on war, health, corporatism. Though a puppet, i DID ask if EVERY American institution were captured, and their answers matched yours pretty much. Fight Fight Fight?
@Roundy oh yeah. Our only option is fighting. I remain however creeped out by certain people in the movement's limelight. I have no doubt the people who attended were authentic and committed.
@Autumn I have to read @melodiousowls article on Brand and Fabianism but he seems to be saying things I agree with, regardless of past. Been too busy to analyze any trojan horse claims that aren't succinctly and clearly laid our for me.
@Roundy @melodiousowls I get you're busy but the key to understanding the present IS the past and the Fabian's role. Their crest actually features a wolf wearing a sheep skin.
