A fascinating aspect of this is that a lot of celebrities are weighing in on movie flops. They are convinced (well, I don't think they're smart enough to really think through their conclusions) that a small group of anti-woke cranks are making certain movies unpopular with general audiences, causing them to fail. This idea, if you follow the reasoning out loud, is pretty stupid and unbelievable. The movies were just bad and nobody wanted to see them.
I am not sure but I am starting to suspect that they are minor investors and are trying to find someone to blame and not their own judgment.
> ...was useful to do this because they report on their ideological polar opposites, who are equally detestable and actually have power.
Excellent strategy. But I find personally after doing that a while I get burnt out from ping pong between one group of insane retards and the other, and have to switch it up by watching tutorials on non-political topics like botany and so on. Otherwise I just find myself getting increasingly angry and feel as if my brain is slowly melting to mush in order to join the lowest common denominator.
That's one of my hobbies too, but even IT has it's dumb drama along similar lines that doesn't seem to be very easily avoided.
Even Disney is starting to fire communists now as investors are pulling out. It's communism. The next step is to just name it and stop using Woke. Now money is behind it we can get a new communist commission as they've gone too far.
In the end, the actual only chance people have at stopping this dead in its track is to be principled and stop giving all of this money as much as you can
I ain't no PhD but I am a gween tea drinker, and that's enough to motivate me.
> in the ways of being smart that matter. at least temporarily
The way you get a really good score in Hotline Miami is to just do the most retarded thing you can, with no regard for whether or not it's retarded. Hopefully things don't get so chaotic that this is the best strategy in general.

@sun @RustyCrab sun, professional understander
normal people are all outside already
I usually say "government name" just substitute that if it makes you get what I am saying
> ...stop giving all of this money...
Fundamentally that means refusing to pay extortion (aka: taxes). Also boycott the shit out anything that contributes to the dystopia. Easier said than done, but it's really the only non-violent means available.
Excellent advice. Conversely, trying to play through levels meticulously and carefully is a really bad idea. It's no fun spending 10 minutes trying to beat a level only to mess up and die. Better to speedrun it repeatedly and then eventually clear it in less than a minute.
> I have never seen or heard any such thing from him. Nothing even close.
He's said that he wants a "very violent day" where the police can have no holds barred on illegal immigrants. He wants to expand the death penalty nationally for those who kill americans (quasi reasonable). And he wants door-to-door raids by ICE for not just illegal immigrants but currently legal ones (that he'll make illegal, later) along with some "criminals". He has crossed that line.
> John Kerry talking about repealing 1A is at least as much of a threat to our republic, because this is something that is verifiable versus campaign exaggerations.
Kerry is not running for POTUS. Trump is. Trump might not be responsible for everything that say steve bannon thinks, but he is responsible for what he actually says. And that has included making himself dictator, rounding up 10s of millions of people, and jailing political opponents. And no longer following the US constitution, something POTUS are supposed to be sworn to do.
And it's hard to keep up with -- Trump says outrageous things so often that it's easy to get numbed to it. But he hasn't stopped.
@sun @RustyCrab @genmaicha hope all of the people in america i care about survive that shit
For the people who tend to get it, it’s probably far, far safer than the other kinds of drugs they take
I’m fully pro transhumanism in general, if people want to go to some hobbyist surgeon to get adaptations and modifications done, I don’t think they should be prevented from doing that
@arcana@fedi.layer02.net @sun@shitposter.world @meso@the.asbestos.cafe @teratology@the.asbestos.cafe @ageha@tomo.airen-no-jikken.icu the us health system is so broken that both candidates in the elections have maintained their support in allowing overseas generics being mailed from online FOR YEARS. instead of trying to address the symptom maybe we should address the pharmaceutical companies <--> benefit managers <--> doctors iron triangle that basically just all bribe themselves at the expense of the payer instead of going against the free market emergency release valve for releasing pressure in an emergency
because a kid might kill themself if they can't shoot up girl drugs.
It is insane how people don't think of scenarios like this and go, "wow this child needs mental health treatment and support" and instead indulge them in choices they are not qualified to make for themselves.
And then we get people shitting on detransitioners who tell the world they were pushed into making choices they regret.
@ageha @sun you are under the assumption I am not against all of these things. Even trans people I know in my personal life do not agree with allowing children to make life altering decisions. It shouldn't be controversial, but I think it is insecurity driving threats of hypothetical suicide. Many minors are going through a lot of turmoil during their development, this idea that only trans people suffer during puberty is absurd. People can make their own decisions once they're 18.
and the only thing gets banned is the one that saves lives.
FGM is banned in most of the west, either you're being obtuse or simply misinformed. Male circumcision has been normalized in the west because of Judaism and Islam, it doesn't make it right.
(remove moon to not bother him more
i'm not talking about you, personally, but rather the targeted campaign you've fallen for and the motivations of the people who created it. see the terf conferences where people say this openly amongst themselves ①, and the mailing lists where politicians search for evidence to support their conclusions ②
