I think freedom from speech is *just as* important as freedom of speech. Not more or less.
We can have both.
IRL, we can have a society that is neutral towards different kinds of speech, but where communities can make and inhabit self-governing spaces within that society that censor speech the way they want.
Online, we can do the above and/or have good self-moderation tools (such as my idea for "filter scripts").
The internet is already a great implementation of the first idea. Each forum, chatroom, *board, fedi instance is it's own sovereign space that can moderate what and who goes in or out.
