The Indo-Aryans did exist. And so did the Indus Valley/Harrapan civilisation they conquered (or maybe not? I thought they did).

But the Indo-Aryans came from the Pontic steppe, so they probably had white skin. I mean, it's near Russia, it's probably pretty cold.
