Michigan democrats were going to vote for a bill that gives all their electoral votes to the candidate who wins the national popular vote, but shelved the bill, presumably because the Republicans just won the popular vote and they assumed that was impossible.

CO passed such a measure in 2020, but it doesn't go into effect until 270's worth of other states sign on. I've gotten several blue friends to admit that they wish they hadn't voted for it now. It's amazing how so many just took their dominance in the popular vote for granted.
