It’s so cute haring the left be like “we need our own #JoeRogan

For those of you not clued into content creation, you can’t just make yourself be the next anyone. Usually, if you’re just copying someone, you probably won’t get success, in part because you don’t allow yourself to make the changes in your content needed to help you grow.

Also, it should be noted that #JoeRogan never intended to become what he now symbolizes, especially to the left. He was and still is just a dude who likes talking to interesting celebrities while smoking weed. He grew because his conversations were interesting. If the left wants a new #JoeRogan, they’ll need to follow that template, rather than focusing on the political end of things.

But hey between me and you, the left will never have their own #JoeRogan. If that was possible, he or she would have shown up long before now.

@realcaseyrollins @therecount They couldn't make David Fuckman popular. Why the hell are they thinking they can make a Gorrillion Podcast, Gorillion^34225 Blogs and automatically get the same clout those things got in like 15 years. Its as absurd as the start lineup of Arkhaven.

@maxmustermann @therecount LOL you mean #DavidPakman? Well he was sort of popular. But he’s a partisan political pundit, he was never going to get mainstream popular beyond what #BenShapiro has achieved. A left wing answer to #BenShapiro is very different from a left wing answer to #JoeRogan.

It also doesn’t help him that he came from the #AirAmerica era of the #ProgressiveTalk format. He’s old guard, part of the #MSM. It’s harder for those types of people to gain traction online, although to be fair to #DavidPakman he’s done well enough for himself.

@lnxw37b2 That’s not entirely surprising if he was against big government, as #AlexJones is really more aligned with #Libertarianism than #Conservatism.

@lnxw37b2 Depending on how long ago that was, that project was probably #AirAmerica. It failed after six years.

It’s surprising how many of those people are still making content!

The craziest thing is that the left had all kinds of Joe Rogans, they own the establishment media. Arguably, they used to have Joe Rogan.

The problem is that being authentic and honest and having a highly controlled hyperpartisan message are mutually exclusive goals.

Now, some might go "But Joe Rogan is hyperpartisan!" which would only show that person's own personal biases, which right now are "anyone who disagrees with our partisan message in any way is literally the hyperparisan opposite of me".

in a sane world, Joe is probably center-left to solidly left. It's only in clown world that he's considered some far right figure.
