Notwithstanding threads which blocks 99% of the fediverse anyway, how many public companies are on the fediverse anyway?
The way I interpreted the suggestion was that individual accounts would be publicly traded rather than their instances.
I'm confident that my fedi activities sold at least two books this year!

....note the example label in a bio for a business "{Reasonably considered} an {advertiser} for a {publicly traded company or brand thereof}" (posts from such an entity would only be shown in feeds of those who subscribe. For everyone else they are visible only when ppl use search)
Note above the presence of the a sub-category, 'advertiser'.
Also note qualitators like 'Confirmed/Admitted' (in bio, no extra output needed, eg. just say "Advertiser for <BUSINESS_TYPE>"), and 'Reasonably considered'
