Generally it takes three generations before an immigrant's descendants are fully assimilated into a culture.

Yeah, the caveat is that if the immigrant comes in along with a large contingent of other immigrants it takes longer. They form ghettos instead of settling among the existing population.

Every major city has (or at least had) an immigrant subculture cause by rapid immigration of a single ethnic group.

No major US city has not had a Little Italy or Chinatown.

And decades of uncontrolled immigration across the southern border has caused this to be huge areas rather than little enclaves.

Elon can't assimilate.

His grandchildren might assimilate.

The best he can do is imitate.

And currently he's failing at that because he's wealthy enough to live in a bubble that keeps him from hearing what the average American wants.

It's a problem common to the rest of our elites too. Even the ones whose family have been here for generations.

Yeah, that's the bubble.

He's not really exposed to the average blue collar worker, so he's out of touch with what most of America wants.
