I swear to God, California has the WORST fire management plan on earth. As an Australian it just makes me cringe to think that anyone could be so stupid.
@PNS -- Earlier in the year(2024), we had a full reservoir due to the rains, but it was drained completely dry for some reason. Now it is only about 80% filled back up.
Like John C. Dvorak, I've noticed that the Water District has at times been draining the reserves off into the storm drains at night. All the while the State Gov. has be been screaming about water shortages.
