Yeah, you can be an atheist edgelord.

But what if?

What if cultures worldwide and throughout human history reflected a window into something beyond human capacity for understanding?

How is it that every culture throughout time had a similar perception of something beyond time and space, and the concept of a soul?

If your "faith" is in science, what is that?

Much of science simply describes observed reality, but has no answer for "why"

What is gravity? Science can describe what will happen, but not "why"

Dark matter? What was before the "big bang?" Quantum physics? Why is light the speed limit?

If our eyes could "see angels" would science describe the what and why, or just describe what was observed

Are some things beyond the mental capacity of a bird? What if there are things beyond the mental capacity of humans, that exist in a way we can't comprehend

You can say that, but again, what if things are beyond your capacity for understanding?

Humans understand a lot, which may lead to overconfidence.

Can a squirrel describe the concept of a car engine?

If you're correct, then what a massive coincidence it is that human cultures across space and time have described the same concept.

@DrFell

It is believed that birds navigate when migrating partially by sensing the magnetic field of the earth.

Can they describe that? Can they understand the mechanics of the cross between biology and magnetic fields?

No, but they do sense it.

People often think about "spirituality" and "souls" as an idea or concept. But what if they are physically real, and we simply lack the mental capacity to understand the "how?"
