This nigga rarely misses.

@Rasterman "Press freedom" =/= freedom of speech.

@MeBigbrain @Rasterman Freedom of press is meaningless term. Press is owned and double owned, and none of them are independent. None of them are free to begin with, they are paid mouthpieces. "I must be allowed to slander you, and you are not allowed to fight back"

@Marakus @Rasterman Our enemies would give the press more freedom than a regular citizen, which is completely backwards.

But you guys! This statistic made by the people that are being criticised says they're the most free country in the world! It's totally not biased or blatantly rigged! Therefore I am right! Hahah! Reddit level 'debating' really has leaked into twitter hard.

@threalist @Marakus @MeBigbrain That Jefferson quote is like a similar one from Mark Twain, without the sass. Is this the earliest famous quote about the media being a bunch of lying shits?

@Rasterman
1) if you country criminalizes "hate speech", it doesn't have free speech, this isn't up for debate - you're literally jailing dissidents for disagreeing with the tyrannical rulers. If you want to Own the US and Vance on this issue, bring up those laws against anti-Semitism that keep popping up in different Republican states.

2) Freedom of Speech and Press Freedom are two different things - Journalists are Enemies of the People, and do more than anyone else to persecute normal people for speaking their mind and even telling jokes. If Trump had every single left-wing journalist jailed, tortured and executed, the average American would become freer to speak up without fear of Cancellation.

@ChristiJunior @threalist @Rasterman @MeBigbrain Journos might be more despised than jews, even with obvious overlap.

@Rasterman Game set match.

There's probably a stone tablet from antiquity talking about how dishonest journalists are.

If there isn't, we just haven't found it yet.

@Rasterman @Marakus @MeBigbrain @threalist this one is pretty famous too:

You know it happens, but you still think to yourself, "am I exaggerating? Is it really that bad?"

Yes. Yes, journalism is that bad, and always has been.

> Early in life I have noticed that no event is ever correctly reported in a newspaper, but in Spain, for the first time, I saw newspaper reports which did not bear any relation to the facts, not even the relationship which is implied in an ordinary lie. I saw great battles reported where there had been no fighting, and complete silence where hundreds of men had been killed.

> I saw, in fact, history being written not in terms of what happened but of what ought to have happened according to various “party lines."

George Orwell

@threalist @Rasterman @radix023 @Marakus @MeBigbrain same phenomenon created the holobunga narrative

@Marakus @Rasterman @MeBigbrain "freedom of the press" means "a press dominated by jews"
The stronger the jewish control, the freer the press

@Rasterman

The criteria they use are definitely not how we’d read the title of the index

Yes, journalism is owned by billionaires and here's why it's a good thing.

That might be the only time that faggot had a point

@ChristiJunior @Rasterman
Why is it that I always see Rasterman spreading the worst opinions on this site? I've actively muted him and don't engage with this type of shit yet he still comes across my timeline.

@Hephaestic That could’ve been a block instead of a mute.

@ChristiJunior @Rasterman @Marakus @MeBigbrain @threalist Sherman might have been an asshole and the very picture of yankee brutality but he made a good point
