The global media is expecting you to accept the fact that it's okay for the leader of the Ukraine to want to protect the interests of the Ukraine, but it's NOT okay for the leader of America to want to protect the interests of America? Pretty simple, when you break it down.
Ukraine is a corrupt state that would have folded in the first three weeks if the West didn't prop it up with weapons and money. Did I mention that it was corrupt?
