Looking at these statistics, I wonder how exactly does EU plan to retaliate with tariffs.
EU->USA exports are nearly twice the value of imports.
They could tax the main import machinery, but a close second is energy and that is already cripplingly expensive in EU.
I just don't see how they could really hurt the US without making it much worse for EU-shitizens.
If they have to kill every man, woman, and child in the EU, they will win this trade war!!!
