Just found out my grandson that's been avoiding me for over TWO YEARS for some unknown reason 'doesn't vote'!?!!? FFS He's 24.
And I messaged him back that that was irresponsible. Hopefully he won't be twiggahed cuz I don't think he has been before. I knda don't blame him but it's so defeatist even if it probably IS an exercise in futility.
I talked w/ my son's 2nd partner and mum of my granddaughter but the kids didn't come to the phone! ARGH. I think they're used to facetime and I hate that shit.

@sj_zero I really wonder how bad the mass formation was even before convid. I think that was a tipping point for a lot of gulls and they never fully recovered.
I mean, just recently I've heard ppl at my pharmacist's asking for convid shots and seen several ppl who still never stopped wearing masks. I know some of them are actually mentally ill because they hang out at some of the same services I do but there's more to it than that also!
I really do wonder what this kind of person IS, that they've dropped all apparent pretense of critical thinking. I find it very disturbing. And they've accepted Carney based on almost nothing, as though he were some great saviour. He's merely a meaner and greedier Trudeau with more contacts and more loopholes.
I think he's basically here because he thinks if he becomes PM, not only can he massively bilk us, he can also have diplomatic immunity and be harder to prosecute by all the countries that are after him now.
