Twitch's onboarding process is actually really nice. All the achievements and analytics really keep you motivated to continue streaming.
I definitely want to see if I can keep up doing weekly streams every Saturday, the response from people on fedi has just been amazing over the past two weeks and I really can't thank you all enough for that.
The main issue I'm facing currently is just coming up with something interesting to do every week; I just don't really know what to do now that the playstation's fixed. I don't think I want to give in and do gaming streams, I do game a lot, I think the hardware tinkering stuff is a lot more unique and might be more interesting to people here.
I've had a DIY keyboard project that I've been sitting on since forever ago, I could give that a try, but if I need to reprint anything, I can't exactly make a stream out of watching an Ender 3 v2 slowly deposit one third of a keyboard chassis for five hours.

@hj ngl, I didn't even know you streamed.
Actually, I think I saw you mention you were doing a DRG stream a few months ago where you got absolutely hammered by the sound of things

@sj_zero My first printer was a piece of crap I won in a contest. I give it a lot of shit (it deserves it) but it was the thing that persuaded me to get more into 3D printing and I just bought my ender 3 once the filament for the other printer ran out (like hell I'm buying vendor-locked filament)
@hj your disgust is understandable - it's where idubbbz's husband got her start, after all.
I would love to stream more again personally, but my internet is absolute dog shit so I have to push it off until next year. I've been meaning to look into an artist and a rigger for vtubing shit but it's... a crawl between work and doing cosplay comissions.
Best of luck to you though if you take the tech / hardware route.
