@FortyTwo™ That's a very good point. Most of us are just slightly evolved cavemen, addicted to technology few of us really understand and we have no real way of duplicating any of them.
@FortyTwo™ It is an accurate point. One can only create what one truly knows intrinsically. Many people in this world specialize and only know their specific area of expertise.
However, we take much for granted in this timeline. We have ready made products, the byproducts of the industrial revolution. To be transported back in time, two centuries, would force one to recreate the last two hundred years, from scratch with only our finite lifetime, which two hundred years, easily exceeds.
Which means even if one knew how many things worked, it would require one to rely on one's knowledge to recreate or in fact, create the future. It is almost an impossible task for anyone to accomplish but it gives one insight and reflection on how much still, we must learn.
