Fully agree re "offer they can't refuse".
But I don't think Musk is a total outlier, I think he's just part of a different branch of the structure. I don't think he'll lose to MAGA, come 2028, MAGA is over because it has no institutional aspect, it's just a cult of personality around a guy who can't run again.

@cjd I'd suggestion you think more about this analysis, because I think most normal modern people haven't seen anything but cults and mismanaged democracies.
Seems that most people get really hung up on the common sense perspective that these companies are hurting their brand and losing money.
Obviously that isn't a deep enough understanding.
Maybe something like this would help:
