The lesson of the boomers is if you want prosperity you have to win the nuclear apocalypse
It's easy to be rich when you're the only country with intact factories

>It's X generation's fault
I hate boomers as much as the next person but every subsequent generation hating the previous one is starting to be really counterproductive.
>inb4 well what do you expect me to do about it
Literally anything is better than bitching about it over and over. Because lets face it: As soon as the boomers all die and that wealth evaporates we are going to need everyone because we are all fucked.

@Goalkeeper @teto Boomers made what were to them obvious rational choices. We certainly will be judged to have made mistakes by future generations.

I think it is more fair to say that their minds were poisoned by the institutions which were designed to poison their minds, but "I'm leaving nothing to my descendants, they need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps" is something other than "mistakes happen"

I'm more worried about not starving to death in 20 years personally.

May the Zoomers have mercy on us for allowing gay marriage back in the day (hopefully SCOTUS will fix that) and electing a nigger president. It was a necessary sacrifice to prove that liberals are wrong about everything.

@threalist @teto @Goalkeeper I think they were the first generation who as a whole had quite a lot more to leave behind than their parents left to them. The first generation that wouldn't need to depend on their children in old age. I'm not saying they weren't a particularly selfish generation, I'm just saying there's a reason they were that way.
