I bought a 200 pack of safety razors and didn't have a nice place to store them by the sink, so I modeled a dispenser in #freecad. I'm slowly getting better at it. It is nice to be able to make useful things.
Writing out loud... maybe now that I have so many blades, I can convince myself to not use each one for so long. I'm way too frugal with blades. I end up using the same one for at least two weeks. Dude, they are about ¥18 a blade. That is less than ¥500 a year. I can afford to go through them a bit faster. Ok, for now on I will replace the blade every week. I can do this.
And even if I use one blade a week, it will take four years to run through the current stock.
The kids have started shaving a bit, but they are afraid they will cut their heads off with these. So, they get the subscription based, micro-transaction, drm protected, ad injected, proprietary Gillette cartridges rather than going to college I guess.
How did you end up printing it? Just a bunch of time cleaning up supports, or is it multiple pieces glued together or something? Or is there some internal design that's not obvious but limits overhangs?

@sj_zero I printed it in the same upright position as you see in the photo. The only supports I used were for the pegboard pegs in the back and the little 1.5mm gap that the razors are pulled through. The walls are all 1.5mm thick. I printed it using PETG filament.
I'm not sure how well an older printer would handle the challenge, but this Core One has no issues with jobs like this. I didn't even use a brim. I'm about a month into 3d printing, but it amazes on every print.
