"Yes they did this overtly and covertly for decades, but they promise they don't now so you're a crazy person for asking questions!"

..imagine being a "journalist"

> The U.S. government did try to use cloud seeding to mitigate hurricanes at various points beginning in the 1940s and ending in 1983 But there isn’t evidence these programs were effective

> The U.S. government also tried to secretly use cloud seeding to create extra rainfall and disrupt enemy supply chains during the Vietnam War, ultimately leading to an international treaty banning use of weather modification for military reasons

Snopes:

> Technology that can severely modify rainfall to create floods currently does not exist.

Then in the same article..

> We have previously reported that cloud seeding is a well-documented effort to counteract droughts and pollution. It has been utilized around the world, including in Dubai and Pakistan

@threalist
This is exactly snopes MO. A person says something reasonable like "stop cloud seeding". Headline sansationalizes it by saying something like "she thinks we control the weather". Snopes fact checks false because MTJ cannot literally shoot lighting out her arse.

It's a bad faith game of telephone.

This will NEVER change. It will ALWAYS be the same. It will not get WORSE, it will not get BETTER, it will not be DIFFERENT in any sense.

I, You, He, She, Them - nobody is IMMUNE.

@threalist Snopes has always been manipulative and fake. Everything to the right was all "conspiracy theory."
