I miss when meatspace was the main reality and the internet was an occasional escape. Now the real world is like a barren hallway we walk through to get to the internet. No one even bothers to put up holiday decorations now. Restaurants are take out only. This sucks.
@mitchconner yeah you remember arent you like 40
@mischievoustomato yeah I'm a millennial 😭
@mischievoustomato I JUST WANT DINNER AT PIZZA HUT WITH MY FAMILY
@mischievoustomato there used to be so many cool places to go IRL. They would build really cool unique buildings that fit the business instead of everything looking like a flat pak DR's office. There was this store called media play that was practically a theme park all I ever wanted was gift cards for there. Huge wall of video game kiosks, wide open spaces with tables of various pop culture merch, a bean bag area with a tv that always played the latest kids movies, a whole book area, nooks with cd listening kiosks, huge headphones and pillows where yo could flip though a book and listen to tunes
Now every public space is just like PICK UP THAT CAN
