@Zettour @Arkana @Fullmetal2255 Well yeah especially when you can make your own in a few minutes, at healthier levels of sugar. AFAIK hummingbirds use nectar for energy, but eat insects for protein/nutrients.
When people make the sugarwater too strong (or buy shit like this whether for convenience or out of ignorance), it can be like a hyperstimulus. They won't look for flowers as much, which hurts the ecosystem. Like feeding any wildlife really.
