Who is in the wrong here, it’s very complicated issue, I can’t find out who is in the wrong, too complicated

Seems really simple to me: eliminate both. No corporate bailouts, no snap. Eliminate the federal income tax.

@sj_zero well corporate bailouts will continue, and every falling bank will be rescued with American tax payers dollars, forever, unless there’s a revolution. There’s no other way. Snap on the other hand is removed on the day without issue

@Dicey @sj_zero >There’s no other way

sure there is

the 'other way' is what satoshi nakamoto / ryan fugger did: build alternatives, and use them.

it won't even matter what banks do if enough people use cryptocurrency.

@jeffcliff @sj_zero can’t they just make cryptocurrency illegal if it’s a threat to bank monopoly

@Dicey @sj_zero people said that in 2007-2012, too.

They did, in some places. And people in other places(or who ignored those laws) generated a fantastic amount of wealth, trillions$ worth... and they missed the boat as a consequence.

global coordination of labour, capital, trade and action is going to keep pushing against the artificial boundaries that banks set on it. And in time, we will crush them into a fine dust

@jeffcliff @sj_zero don’t think the US government cares much if people like them or not

@Dicey @sj_zero good thing people outside of the US using crypto don't depend on the US government caring about things

@jeffcliff @sj_zero you know being in 5 countries zone, you should know who runs the show in west. It’s not Canada

@Dicey @sj_zero There is no one person who 'runs' the 'west'. There's a variety of different psychopaths with varying degrees of political power over various institutions and people. Some people here would like to think he's some kind of emperor of the west, but he's not. Canada has a King, who is in charge here ( Pisimwa Kamiwohkitahpamikohk )

@Dicey @sj_zero reminder: canada took in like 1.4M ukranians (so far) since the war began, and has more ukranians than any nation outside of poland/ukraine.

@jeffcliff @sj_zero yeah, I do believe like the king of Canada, Pisimwa Kamiwohkitahpamikohk, I have special powers too, and run the world more or less. Not ironic, I really have that delusion for real

Whether you're in the US, Canada, Europe, or anywhere with a functioning government at the moment, I cannot stress this enough:

Do not use bitcoin or other cryptos to avoid paying taxes.

You might have very nice computers, but the government has guns and angry smelly men who like making examples of people who try to avoid paying taxes, and they're like vampires in that you very much do not want to invite them into your homes.

@sj_zero @jeffcliff I don’t have cryptocurrency, but I know well the issue of taxes, that will follow you many years if you are being flagged somehow. Best to not do anything that draws attention
