I represent 501(c)(3). You don't want to know how much they spend on auditors each year alone.
I'm just saying that I want to donate to my pet projects in lieu of paying taxes.

@Humpleupagus @Dan_Ramos What's break even that makes sense with all the overhead? $5m?
Estate tax rate over $1M over the exemption is 40%. So if you give away roughly half your stuff above the exemption to your own pet charity, you don't pay estate tax.
@Humpleupagus @Dan_Ramos Yeah, it's twisted, she's deliberately kvetching how state and federal budgets are short $4.5b due to one charitable donation.
I'm arguing the other way. Rich people already get to control how government spends the money. I want to decide.
@Humpleupagus @Dan_Ramos You commie basterd! ;]

75% EFFECTIVE TAXATIONBut it's debt slavery, lel.
@Dan_Ramos Andrew Carnegie built libraries before there was an income tax. Whatβs Dell building to save money on taxes?
I'm starting to notice a trend. The very rich and the the very poor are experts at scamming the middle class. Yet another skill not taught in schools.
