As much as I loath to parrot the manosphere faggots, a lot of regular guys really have checked out from romance altogether. Eventually the decent women left are going to realize this in their little collective brains and start policing their own again out of resentment if nothing else. And nobody is as cruel to women as other women so it's going to be really funny to watch.
It's an optimistic take but I think it's inevitable.
