@JoeBravo77 serious question, why do people not build dome houses in tornado valley areas. The wind would prevent the houses from getting destroyed. Even if those houses cost $20k, it still takes effort in putting it all together, or is this side of America a special place where people love getting pulverized by wind in their cardboard houses?

For most, the risk isn't worth the cost. Tornadoes have such narrow damage paths and the chance of actually getting hit by one is slim. There hasn't been a recorded tornado near my neighborhood since the 1950's (I'm probably cooked just for saying that)

Now, hurricanes? Yeah, I think it's retarded to keep rebuilding the same weak ass houses in a place that gets blown off the earth every 2-3 years.

@The_Almighty_Kek @lnx @JoeBravo77 It's also dumb because that whole part of the world is going to be completely underwater by 2020. 😏

I'm 30 miles from the Gulf of Waffle House......or whatever we're calling the Gulf of mexico these days.....My house is currently 174 feet above sea level. How much longer do I have until I need to invest in a canoe or party barge???
