And what if there's someone in Iran who doesn't accept that surrender?
What if there's someone who wants to keep firing rockets?
How does the surrenderer - who "cannot fight back" (your words) stops the other guy from continuing to fire rockets?
Because China is not going to just stop providing rockets, there's no reason why they would ever stop, Iran has just gotten the world to trade oil in Yuan.

The problem people have today is not accepting the fact that the USA, under any administration, is a warmonger. If Russia is the 'bear', the USA is the badger.
But the focus is on "under any administration". How blaming Trump for the Iranian war is any different for blaming any other president for their own wars?
The USA will never change, because there is a lot of money in war. China, Russia, any other state always come up net negative where the USA is tested new weapons, gained battle experience, and the Military Industrial Complex made shitload of money.
In Russia and in China the Military Industrial Complex is loosing money because its State Owned. Not to mention they are losing face and reputation as the US blows their "deterrence, defense and assault technologies" to pieces.
Even with the nukes: are you sure they will make it to NYC or LA, and they will deploy? Or they might just fall into the ocean and then what are you going to do with the incoming?
But Iran is welcome to keep fighting, keep resisting. Russia and China are welcome to send them their inferior technologies. I love the fact that we finally have a Military that will fight. It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling that Iran, and their fucking god and their fucking prophet is humiliated. "Just get them to surrender" is a plan so simple and straightforward it makes you wonder why they didn't use it in Afghanistan!
