Anyone remember green kool-aid? Most people who grew up with it know what I mean when I say "it tastes like green"

I've heard that artificial strawberry and banana flavour are based on wild strawberries and an obsolete cultivated banana variety respectively. Having tasted both artificially strawberry flavoured products and wild strawberries, I believe that bit but idk about the bananas. Maybe something like that is going on with grapes.
