I can understand that actually.
If you see your bosses busting their asses and basically giving their souls to the machine, it makes sense you wouldn't want a promotion, because why would you want to hand your soul over to the machine?
If on the other hand the work culture is such that even if you get a promotion you still get your evenings and weekends and holidays, then the additional responsibility during work hours doesn't sound so bad.
I know I see my bosses literally flying all around the world, and it's like "hey, maybe you could take my job someday when I retire?" hard no. I work to live, I don't live to work.

@foxhkron I live in a town with around 2k population. It has a station.
@foxhkron one bullet per nazi
@ntnsndr I'm not anti-black and I would be against reparations for slavery coming from taxpayers in any country. Your average taxpayer had nothing whatsoever to do with slavery.
Unwanted opinion.
@inpc What about compared to Trump though?

>What do you think?
I think everyone should switch to an independent Linux fork that's either headquartered in Switzerland or in no apparent country (infrastructure all as hidden services; anonymous maintainers when necessary) that accepts patches from everyone
