Advocate for freedom and tolerance even if you say things I do not like

Adversary of Fediblock

Accept that I'll probably say something you don't like and I'll give you the same benefit, and maybe we can find some truth about the world.

Ah... Is the Alliteration clever or stupid? Don't answer that, I sort of know the answer already...

One huge thing I'm hoping is that federation becomes the norm, and then the independent forums can start to get the benefits of a unified platform without the dangers of a single point of failure.

Lol "my phone is 8 inches and 3 inches thick!"

I'm just saying that a phone that big won't fit in a woman's pockets.

Protip: if you want to play with bing chat without using edge, just fake the user agent. Works just fine.

I feel like modern phones are compensating.

Like they'd buy a Ford F450 for milk runs because they need everyone to know they're definitely better than their dad look how big their truck is!

Yeah. A good chunk of big tech services don't make any money. Google's biggest win with YouTube is the fact that they own the video market, but I think it's barely profitable which is one reason why they are constantly fiddling with the monetization formulas. That being said, Facebook is indeed super profitable, and I'm pretty sure that the metaverse is just Mark Zuckerberg using his position at Facebook to try to complete a passion project and a bunch of idiot business analysts seeing massive dollar signs by extrapolating data point that doesn't exist saying that everyone on Earth will be using it.

A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court is a fun isekai.

I don't know what else to call this than a masterpiece.

Literally, a piece that signifies someone is a master of their craft.

Oh, so when is Biden getting arrested for the exact same crime?

Hey, you missed a word. The most important one.

"I'm really upset at this thing my paper directly contributed to!"

What even is a 14th amendment? Probably not important.

oh no there aren't ads? but how will i get paid for my free fediverse instance? oh right I dont' care.

Meanwhile culpa, I missed the price.

50k is still too much. At that point you buy a vehicle that can do everything you need instead of something that is probably ok most of the year.

I think these people don't realize that $50,000 is a lot of money for most people. If you're spending $50,000 us on a vehicle, your transportation budget is spoken for. It needs to be something that can do everything you needed to do at all times for a long time.

I like the idea of a small electric pickup, but it needs to be cheap to make sense, and they don't mention the price. Given the long range, I have a feeling it's probably still in the "just buy an ICE truck" range.

"it's only $600,000 and has a range of a mile in summertime!"

First impression of kbin: "Ok, just follow the instruc-- wait, they're half missing."

The sky far from cities makes you understand why people saw mythical creatures in the sky. People who haven't ever left the city can't understand...

"Yo! Jamal! Some niggas at the door!"

"we at Amazon do not support racist doorbells"

Uh wut?

I don't really trust any of these people.

Look at the list of banned books over the past 50 years. You'll find something in common with them. Will the people who signed these laws still be ok with it when those books return to the library?

Everyone is pro censorship when it's things they don't like and anti-censorship when it's things they like. It's only principled people who believe in anti-censorship for things they actually don't like.
