Advocate for freedom and tolerance even if you say things I do not like

Adversary of Fediblock

Accept that I'll probably say something you don't like and I'll give you the same benefit, and maybe we can find some truth about the world.

Ah... Is the Alliteration clever or stupid? Don't answer that, I sort of know the answer already...

Many people point out returning your cart at the store illustrates the bare minimum care required to live in a civilization.

I've extrapolated this to mean that if you return two carts, one of your own and one someone else left there then you are fit to lead.

Perhaps if you return three cards, you are fit to build a civilization of your own.

And for certain if you return four cards, you might just work for the supermarket.

What ur telling me Funko of Funko pop fame is kinda evil?

I never would have guessed by their whole business model being taking OCD people's money for plastic junk

Seems like an acceptable payoff.

I wonder what the chances are of a 64T federal debt by 2035?

I'm surprised, for all the problems over here, the cities typically collect garbage weekly.

That's kind of what I thought it would be.

I assumed the Canadian system wouldn't be so different than the UK system with a federal government, a provincial government, and municipal city/town governments with different powers and responsibilities at each level.

That's why seeing labour being blamed seemed strange. Typically municipal matters don't really reflect party politics.

Is garbage collection a federal matter in England?

Ought to be a hanging offense.

Tbf, I think most people don't have the latest phones since phone companies stopped giving you a free phone every 3 years.

(I had the MotoX 2013, one of the only phones manufactured in America in a factory in Texas. It was great. Lenovo owns the company now)

You're not wrong, but I'm not comparing the US to a hypothetical perfect government, but the actual governments around the world that successfully do the thing.

The worst part is that the US government spends more money on healthcare than Canada by a substantial margin, meaning that the problem here is less the insurance companies and more the incompetent government. If they were spending the money properly, everyone would have some degree of healthcare.

ngl, the last good windows was 7. 10 was just about usable, 11 is really silly, I expect 12 to be fairly silly.

>“But he was wrong,” the article continued authoritatively — before delivering what was meant to be the death blow certain to tear Kennedy’s incorrect beliefs to smithereens.

>“The ingredient list is roughly the same, although Canada’s has natural colorings made from blueberries and carrots while the U.S. product contains red dye 40, yellow 5 and blue 1 as well as Butylated hydroxytoluene, or BHT, a lab-made chemical that is used ‘for freshness,’ according to the ingredient label,” the report said.

I sorta wish there was an option in youtube to subscribe to a channels videos but block their streams and shorts.

Especially the streams. Some people can do it, other people can't.

Seems to me it's all very logical, it's just also incredibly spiteful. "Oh, orange man won election? Let's leave him a bloody mess so we can blame everything on him!"

Trump ran on peace so it sure looks like they're doing everything they can to destabilize Eurasia.

Really seeing more and more justification for destroying the bureaucracy.

Can you really call something that worked exactly as planned a screw up?

Ngl, getting stabbed to death is probably a bit overkill for touching a bum unsolicited.

Otoh I guess it's a hell of a deterrent. A few more stories like this and letcherous old men might think twice.

Threads won't even federate with most of the fun parts of the fediverse.
