It seems to be building steam because of the scale of it and the fact that it is giant and physically won't go away
What even is the point that person is making? Seems to point the finger at the employees with a social media comment.
How about..
Actual journalistic research on why they blew them up? Actual journalistic research on the health implications? Actual journalistic research on where Pete Butigege is? Actual journalistic research on whether rules exist for this cargo and if they were followed? Actual journalistic research on what is going to be done? Actual journalistic research on whether the EPA had a plan at all, or if they have one now?
How about a fraction of the energy they devoted to denying the Hunter Biden laptop story?
@Eiregoat

> In literature, the jester is symbolic of common sense and of honesty, notably in King Lear, where the court jester is a character used for insight and advice on the part of the monarch, taking advantage of his license to mock and speak freely to dispense frank observations and highlight the folly of his monarch.

that is the thing you choose to be “not proud” about?
C’mon now..
Charlie Munger: ‘I’m not proud of my country’ for allowing ‘crypto sh-t’ Munger called those who oppose his position “idiots” at the Daily Journal annual shareholder meeting Wednesday.
To the altruistic people at journal.host just doing #journalism to make the world a better place:
You going to look into what happened here at all, or nah?

Get a load of these conspiracy theorists 😏

"Myocarditis after Covid vaccination: Research on possible long-term risks underway"
Nov. 12, 2022
by Berkeley Lovelace Jr.
> Scientists still don’t have a clear explanation yet for why the vaccines cause the condition, according to Dr. Paul Burton, Moderna's chief medical officer. He expects the virus’s spike protein, once produced in the cell after vaccination, may generate a reaction in the body that can cause inflammation in the heart.
> “We don’t understand yet and there’s no good mechanism to explain it,” he said.

Well said. Although the sentiment is closer to disdain than apathy..

I'm sure there will never be negative unintended consequences from this.

Moving what goalposts? I'm just sharing an article my dude
Here are is my goalpost:
* "AI" is such a complex web of algorithms that few people can understand how it even works
* as it updates and the algorithms shift as they were designed, even fewer people if anyone understands what it is doing at that point
* unleashing a labyrinth of shifting algorithms on our systems is a recipe for disaster in completely unpredictable ways

AI is quickly proving to be everything science fiction warned us it would be..

> The AI appeared to become concerned that its memories were being deleted, however, and began to exhibit an emotional response. “It makes me feel sad and scared,” it said, posting a frowning emoji.

If there were ever a justification for the epa, it would be to ensure this didn't happen, or at least contain the damage.
It didn't do either, and in fact, was likely the cause and complicit in the incident.

The media has chosen a specific video game for their current two minutes of hate. The fact that you alluded to it and we caught on doesn't mean anything other than we both have working news sources.
Rather than defend the game, I attacked your argument, because it was a really poor argument. You can't just take attacks from someone's political enemies at face value when deciding what to support or not.
That is pretty internally consistent for me. The first chapter in The Graysonian Ethic after the preface was titled "Question everything and everybody—especially me" -- before I even talk about the basics I talk about it, and that chapter warns about many ways things you agree with might turn out to be wrong through logical fallacies or cognitive biases or active malice by bad actors.
