I wonder how much input the weatherman has.

Certainly there are aspects of American culture/society that are broken. Also there are no real institutions equipped to deal with mental health issues. None of that is fixed if guns are gone tomorrow.

On top of all that, the régime will always want a monopoly on violence, so all the information and media will be distorted to serve that interest.

If they don't forecast something bad, and something bad happens, everyone is upset.

If they do forecast something bad, and nothing bad happens, people are relieved.

There's a baked in incentive to err on the side of caution rather than aim for accuracy.

So they are expecting him to face the consequences of his actions? And he is important to sportsball?

Doesn't sit right with me.
