This is what comes to mind when people get upset about the squirrel and raccoon that were confiscated and euthanized.

I'm just thankful that the same authorities who were so quick to use overwhelming violence in these instances would never consider doing the same against citizens.

Yeah, the issue isn't the medicine, but the bureaucracies and the backward focus on treatment through drugs rather than prevention and healthy living.
