Wikipedia is such a shit show... Ten citations for two sentences. The editors are cosplaying academic writing. Worse. They're cargo culting it. They're approximating the form without understanding the function.
If this is true, it's miserably bad news for Israel because:
1. They're vulnerable right now, if the US taps out, they're gonna get pummeled
2. CIA is world premier expert on fucking you over, they've done it to at least half of south/central America who God only knows how much of the middle east
3. It means there's a power structure (Vatican?) that is not friendly to Israel, which again is bad news for them because they're so vulnerable

watched a guy on youtube harvest wheat and turn it into bread only buying sourdough starter and doing everything himself. everyone should be peasant farmers and only make food and tools and nothing else. go to church drink beer hang out. as God intended.
If we assume that Israel's goal is primacy in the region, then they don't need a protracted conflict in Iran.
They can let the US get bogged down in whatever happens, and chaos only benefits in that scenario. Another Afghanistan for the US means the US is less powerful in the region.

@DireGoy Luckily they haven't been as "strengthened by diversity" as we have so these aren't immediately stolen en-masse.
