Had an account like 7 years ago, but deleted it because I realized I was contributing to Twitter saying they had a billion accounts. I'm all in on free software and self-hosting. Big tech had their chance, they blew it. Lots of those tech CEOs talked just like Musk 10 years ago.

@thendrix @dave Do you have any evidence for that?
Particularly that Twitter was formed from intelligence people and that Facebook was allowing people to make posts on other people's accounts (I think I vaguely remember something like that).
