I got moonlight going on my handheld, but it really wasn't great. It started off promising but the performance just wasn't there trying to stream to it and so I would watch 7 seconds go by and a change on the display wouldn't make it to the remote unit. It could just be that a usb wireless n network card can't keep up, but it could also be that the weak CPU on the handheld can't keep up.
HOWEVER
The toolchain of "Sunshine" as a server and moonlight as a client is a game changer for my chromebook (armhf architecture) running debian. Suddenly I can use the tiny fanless laptop as a thin client for my main PC. In fact, I'm writing this post from that chromebook while listening to a youtube video, and all that's happening on the main PC. Writing a post in a web browser isn't that important, this thing can already surf the web. What this thing can't do is virtually everything else I can do with a full power PC. I don't have terrabytes of storage, or an RTX video card, or tons of memory, or lots of CPU power, but I have all that on my main PC.

On my RG-35+ I've been playing more with the ports system, because there's some really interesting stuff in there.
C-Dogs worked perfectly, an open source port of cyber-dogs.
Descent 1 and 2 work perfectly, really fast.
DevilutionX was a bit of a pain to get going, but handheld diablo you can play multiplayer is pretty exciting and it works well.
Drally worked perfectly, death rally was one of the greats back in the day.
Flare looks like a really cool game, the controls are a bit wonky.
GTA3 and GTA Vice City worked perfectly once I had the files in the port folder.
Moonlight I still haven't gotten working, it goes right up to the 99% then just stops. It's high on my priority list to get going, I think it'll be a great thing to get going.
Stardew valley required me to change my installation of stardew valley to the compatibility branch. Once I did that, I was able to drop the files into the port and it takes forever to load but runs great.
Urquan masters and VVVVV also worked great.
So overall, this little diversion into native ports for this weird handheld of mine has been really interesting. Being able to go online means a lot of really interesting opportunities! In particular being able to play multiplayer native games on handheld with a PC is pretty interesting!

I actually would be inclined to agree with this logic, but the sort of people trying to get porn in school libraries and screaming censorship when they don't get it likely wouldn't agree.
The thing that these people don't seem to realize is that the school is an organ of the state. I'm full on for free speech, but on the other hand I think that the speech of government employees who are acting in their capacity as agents of the state should be more heavily regulated than tobacco advertising. Especially when that speech is coming from someone who has been mandated exposure to children.
And these people believe it too. Ask them if the state should be funding providing copies of mein Kampf to children, and suddenly they believe in "banning books" too.

I had a whole post written up earlier about this, but I ended up hooking up a Wi-Fi adapter to my new rg-36+, and some really interesting things happened. The updater seems to run ubuntu's apt update so even if the actual firmware doesn't get updated coming the operating system did. Besides that though, the updater also was able to pull the latest version of something relating to the emulation and all that.
When I went into libretro, it let me download the latest course and also download more cores. It was pretty interesting realizing that I could update so much stuff independently of the future of the specific firmware being used on the device.
One thing that was particularly interesting was related to a piece of software on their callex portsmaster. Rather than being a bunch of emulators, there are a bunch of Open source programs you could download. I wasn't able to get into portsmaster the first time because the internet connection I was on at when I was first testing this out was so limited, but afterwards I put it in and it was just very interesting the wide variety of options available. A CPU native Port of Grand theft Auto III and vice City is really quite interesting to me.
Another thing that I haven't been able to get running yet but I'm quite interested in is it seems you can run a streaming program on the handheld, so I could be laying in bed at night or hanging out in my back yard playing a video game being streamed from my PC which would massively open up the opportunities for a little handheld like this. Imagine playing something like cyberpunk on a console running a little rock chip because the horsepower is sitting somewhere else.

Same. It's easy to forget that the Liberals were not always the Liberals under Trudeau, but I actually really liked the Liberals under Jean Chretien and Paul Martin.
Are these election workers Elon Musk or something? Most people won't make 2 million over the rest of their lives, and nothing Giuliani could say could prevent these people from working in any capacity ever again...
The liberals right now remind me of the Ontario liberals before they stopped being a party because they got pantsed so badly electorally.
Hate to say it, but the golden age of video games was a long time ago and we're in a deep dark age.
How many recent games has a story worth commenting on at all? (And keep in mind the game you're thinking of is probably 10 years old)

Of course pending some due process to make sure sane people aren't getting sent to "treatment", I'm fully on board with this.
How many school shooters and the like were known to be bonkers and it was like "Yeah, what you gonna do?"

The one on the right is ugly as sin, but is really cool and I kinda want one even if it's only usb2...
"What harm is there in trying?"
The fact that you only have one life to live, and a limited amount of time to enjoy it, and you can't get back those 7 years!

A wise culture should elevate those who exhibit virtue, because those who are famous are the people a civilization agrees we should be paying attention to. To elevate any old person who just wants to be famous means it tells people that seeking fame is the highest virtue to aspire to, and that's just not going to be a healthy civilization (as our civilization today is quite unhealthy)
Early Rome told the story of Cincinnatus, who became dictator during an emergency, and once the emergency was over returned to his farm to live out the rest of his days illustrating great civic virtue. Late Rome focused on gladiators, whose virtue was mostly in entertaining the masses.
Our culture today is on the tail end of universally focusing on celebrities, people whose main virtue is being entertaining, or politicians whose main virtue is being popular or powerful. Those people often pretend to be virtuous, but their veneer is thin, plastic, and fake and everyone can see that. On the other hand, I'm seeing a some people losing interest in such people and instead are looking to be inspired by virtue.

Virtue can come in many forms. Exhibiting charity, grace, self-sacrifice, wisdom, honor, valor, discipline, hard work, adaptability, humility or other virtues may come alongside inherent attributes like intelligence, physical beauty, or raw strength but that doesn't mean the two necessarily coincide. Indeed, natural gifts can be used for positive or negative ends.
I think our lionization of "smart" people isn't so healthy. We should be making virtuous people famous, and that virtue ought not to be something as randomly granted as beauty, raw intelligence, or unalloyed strength.
I know what it's supposed to mean, but I don't think modern usage ever matches a small 10% reduction.
