The thing about slandering half the country with labels:
Seems you've got two likely outcomes eventually..
1. They start to believe you, and accept that they are what you say, thereby confirming your fears.
2. They no longer care about that thing, and the label loses influence and people stop caring generally about your label

You need people to focus on "be nice" if you don't want them to stand up to people who do bad things.
I'm just going to copy-paste this post by @sj_zero because I have nothing to add:
> At Newcorp, the company running Fox News, employee donations skew wildly towards Kamala Harris, with the #1 recipient of funds by a wide margin being Kamala Harris in 2024. Donald Trump got less than 1/10th of the donations from Newcorp employees.

"It's all performative.
You're watching Democrats pretend to be Republicans, largely for the benefit of other Democrats."

Some people I actually like are really struggling to understand how Trump could win, and I write up a big post explaining, then delete it because what's the point? I'll just get blocked and called a nazi anyway.
Which is why a lot of people are struggling to understand how Trump could win.

They said he would be a dictator, and he won, so he should just lean into it and be what they said he would be.
Lean into it.
"I know? How did Biden get 20m more votes than Obama, and now those votes just vanished?"

The most realistic scenario is that they banned anyone who tried to say it.
Dangerous to the illusion.
Dangerous to the illusion.
Many on the left are very stressed about the prospect of an impending Trump dictatorship.
It's important to help deescalate that narrative by setting the record straight:
They got the last name right but the first name wrong.

Also "garbage" and "deplorables"
The thing is, it isn't a marketing strategy they can flip on or off. It's part of their core values. It is virtue signaling.
They think they lost because they didn't villainize hard enough:

"The party must learn how to spin political narratives with active villainsβand hold them accountable."

Guys..
I wish I had thought of this on Monday..
..but, has anyone considered that Trump might literally be Hitler?
