Who has that post from 4Chan from a few years ago predicting that the system would come down hard on "woke" to get Americans back on board to ensure they would be enthusiastic about war?
@threalist @YoungBlood Sometimes wars are made to prevent total annihilation.
I would like to point out the fact that even if we do manage to get out of hostilities with Iran and get oil moving through the strait again, that doesn’t make it any less foolish or morally questionable to have started the mess to begin with.
That you for your attention to this matter.
Hot take: The crusades were significantly more justified than the eighty years war, or the thirty years war.

The problem with idea that China was going to be the future world power was the fact they have never been a world power, even at their most dominant they never built a navy or conquered anyone beyond the physical boundaries of their current nation and they have worse age demographics than the US.
How was Iran going "totally annihilate" anyone if their nuclear program was destroyed by Trump last June?

The problem has always been that the definition of who is "right" shifts in any culture (hence the "overton window") and in creating gates you will eventually find yourself on the wrong side of the gate you created.
"Are we going to palliate and excuse a palpable and flagrant outrage on the right of speech, by implying that only a particular description of persons should exercise that right?
Liberty is meaningless where the right to utter one’s thoughts and opinions has ceased to exist. That, of all rights, is the dread of tyrants. It is the right which they first of all strike down.
To suppress free speech is a double wrong. It violates the rights of the hearer as well as those of the speaker."
