Advocate for freedom and tolerance even if you say things I do not like

Adversary of Fediblock

Accept that I'll probably say something you don't like and I'll give you the same benefit, and maybe we can find some truth about the world.

Ah... Is the Alliteration clever or stupid? Don't answer that, I sort of know the answer already...

considering that most institutions of any kind have been infiltrated by losers, it's like "Why am I paying for this?"

And for most people the answer becomes "Oh yeah, I won't."

Are the kids still playing fortnite?

I'd say that's a damning indictment of the gaming industry but I'm still playing daggerfall so.......

It is increasingly looking like Donald Trump is going to win the popular vote. We don't know what's going to happen on election day, he could lose by a landslide we don't know but right now it's looking like he wins the popular vote. If that happens, that means that the majority of voters voted for Donald Trump. In that case, are these people going to be calling for violence and hatred against most voters?

I mean... Yes. Which is pathetic.

There used to be good gaming media I used to subscribe to gaming magazines, and there were some really good ones that had really interesting things to say and weren't afraid to call a bad game bad. Everything that was good got shut down. All that's left is the sycophants who breathlessly cheerlead whatever they're told to.

I've got an article ready for when the winner is declared, and the problems with journalism are a core theme.

Depending on who wins, only the title changes. One title says "I knew this was going to happen, here's why", the other says "I didn't expect that! Here's why"

As Detroit and Chicago are learning, they're not the only ones.

I have to admit, earlier this year I made a post saying that it didn't really matter who became president, because really doesn't. It's only 4 years. But I'm kind of getting excited now. What I'm saying is the potential for 4 years respite, but starting to build a whole infrastructure to make sure that there are people around 4 years from now who can carry that torch.

If Trump can keep up this momentum, if he can keep on surrounding himself with really good people who actually care about the future, then this presidential campaign might actually matter. Especially if he can win a strong enough victory to force the Democrats to get out of 2007.

I thought this interview with the prime minister's secretary in 2015 was really interesting, it confirmed a lot of what I've come to believe about Canada's current government. It turns out that he talks to those who are close to him exactly the same as he talks to the Canadian people.

Ok, this entire channel is cool. The guy is 3d printing airsoft style weapons that run off of HHO (water gas)

Kind of want

"people who illegally cross borders" it turns out isn't a race.

Huh! I had no idea. I guess it just handles itself a bit better, and lxde might use a bit less too.

Was trying to make a Chromebook with 2GB of RAM usable. Chrome based browsers just ran out of memory and became unusable on xfce mint.

Went with lubuntu and the falkon browser and it seems to handle low memory conditions much better. The chromium based browsers would work very well for a little while but eventually pulled too much memory and everything died. Ran a YouTube playlist overnight on falkon and everything is still responsive.

Does that make Elon the ewoks?

But for the most part, it was just pop music of the time, and one of the important parts of pop music is that it has an expiry date so the next manufactured band on the conveyor can come out and sell more albums at relatively low cost before they become too expensive.

I've got searxng set up with a bunch of search engines that don't get their indexes from Google or Microsoft. In particular yacy is a FOSS and distributed search engine where the results come from each instance doing its own crawling. It's a bit slow and sometimes the results aren't the greatest, but as the only truly independent search engine it's worth the cost.

If there is one thing that would not make me less nervous, it is sticking a dildo up my ass.....

"Good news everyone! These two no longer have to worry about climate change!"

The worst part is that a math book is filled with problems that typically have clear answers.
